Matthew Lee is a live visual artist & video designer currently working in Manchester whilst developing his own research methods in technological and human interaction within spatial environments. He has performed and designed visuals for New Order, Manchester International Festival, The Hacienda and Glastonbury festival. He is interested in how virtual environments can be generated from our own bodies’ sensory qualia. Specifically, Matthew is interested in how biometric data is manipulated within visual environments and how this management then creates a thought-provoking, meaningful experience for the audience. Matt’s line of inquiry within this project and research topics stem from a key interest in a technologically virtual and immersive realization of human perception.
